Description of Current Work:

At the National Writing Project we support a network of over 200 university-based and teacher-led local writing project sites. These sites provide local professional learning communities for teachers K-16 and across the curriculum interested in the teaching of writing/digital composing and the uses of writing across the disciplines and in personal, community, and civic life. Sites are located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Selected Publications/Projects/Articles/Press:

The National Writing Project website illustrates the wide variety of projects, events, and activities happening across the network. Currently, we are developing a website and resource hub focused entirely on the teaching of digital writing as well as looking forward to the publication of two new books, one on assessment in digital composition and one for teachers and administrators on why digital writing matters.
