Why Digital Media and Learning?
Well it’s one of those things that can help connect the very modern world to the not so modern world; for example, we can look up the latest news from third world countries, or something that happened in 300 BCE. Also, it helps to connect people from around the world; many people use digital media to connect with loved ones in Iraq, and in Global Kids we often learn about and produce a form of media relating to the topic we learned about. So it’s interesting because having access to digital media is a privilege, and we’re using it to the best of its ability to help bridge the digital divide.

Description of Current Work:
At the Faculty Center, I basically help faculty with whatever technical difficulties they have. We work with Moodle, which is a newer form of online communications similar to what most colleges have as Blackboard. In Moodle, I’m currently working on a Mock Art History Course so professors can see how they can use moodle to their best extent to provide resources for their students.
